About Us

Morning Mist Resort is a family owned & operated business located in the pristine region of the Upper Ottawa Valley. Open year-round, our 80 acre property boasts over 5km of marked hiking/biking trails, 1300ft of sandy waterfront, and numerous onsite amenities for the enjoyment of our guests.

Sixty miles of unobstructed Ottawa River Waterway offers the avid sportsman world class fishing with trophy walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, and bass. Sturgeon is also known in these waters for those fishermen wishing to tackle a unique catch.

A crisscross of Snowmobile, ATV trails, and old logging roads provide access to many inland lakes which harbor plenty of bass and various species of trout (lakers, brookies, rainbows, & splake).

Naturalists can explore the unspoiled beauty along the largely undeveloped shores and inlets specific to this stretch of the Ottawa River. Abundant wildlife include deer, moose, bear, and wolves which augment an array of waterfowl and birds including pheasant and eagles.

Local area attractions offer opportunities for that day trip from the resort. Spend a day on the local golf course, enjoy downhill or cross-country skiing, or visit a unique museum all located within a short driving distance from the resort.

Whether your primary interest is fishing, hunting, boating, or simply to get away - we will do all we can to make your stay with us everything you want it to be.
