We are in Black Bear Country and the hunting is great. The majority of the land around the resort is crown land. Deer and moose are walking these woods as well. Partridge is also plentiful.

The comfort station also houses an indoor fish cleaning room equipped with plenty of light, counter space and hot & cold running water. Dedicated food freezers are available to freeze your catch prior to the return journey home.
Trading Post
Morning Mist Resort features an on-site 'Trading Post' stocked with items specifically for the convenience of our guests, including:
- Tackle & Live bait
- Firewood
- Ice
- Everyday necessities (sunscreen, bug spray, etc.)
A local store exists approximately 2km from the resort entrance where guests can purchase additional items such as food, beer, liquor, gas and a collection of local souvenirs. In addition, Deep River offers a wide variety of businesses to satisfy the shopping and service needs of our guests (approximately 20 minute drive from the resort).
Dock Facilities
We can accommodate up to 30 boats at our dock while additional runabouts can be brought up on the sandy shoreline. Water depth at the dock is approximately 3 feet.
